Onsite Childcare -- Emerging Exposures & New Risks
Assess staff requests to bring their own children into school buildings and classrooms for childcare purposes. Review all licensing and regulatory requirements involving childcare on campus with the district’s legal counsel.
If permitted, offer appropriate training to staff.
Maintain an appropriate ratio of adults-to-students aligned with childcare rules and regulations.
Obtain signed agreements from parents acknowledging they will not bring their child to the district if the child shows any symptoms or has been exposed to communicable diseases. Sign appropriate waivers to protect the district.
